 SAUNA//plunge FAQs

  • LIMITED NUMBER AVAILABLE - GET IT WHILE ITS HOT!

    A season pass includes:

-unlimited bookable sessions to the community sauna//cold plunge. Booking your sessions is required. The season pass expires on May 31 of 2025.

    - 1 aprés sauna tea per session

-1 free guest per month, bring your family or friends! Has to be a new customer.

-20% off merch and consumables(electrolytes etc.).

*Members are asked to show restraint if coming more than once per day.

  • NO! To make this place as accessible as possible(all ages and genders), proper swimsuit attire is required-think what you'd wear to a public pool(not your underwear).

  • This really depends on your sauna practice, BUT, our sauna is very very hot(usually ~200-210F) so your sessions may be shorter than you're used to. Empower yourself to listen to your body, you know best.

  • To get the most benefits, we recommend at least 2 to 3 rounds of 0-15 minutes in the sauna and 0-3 minutes in the cold plunge. But-there is no formula. We sauna and plunge to feel better in our bodies-so do what feels good and healthy.

  • -swimsuit

-1-2 towels(depending on if you like to sit on one in the sauna-the benches get hot)

    -water bottle

-change of clothes for the lounge as it is a dry area

  • We love steam! Or löyly as it's called in Finland. But it can be a very intense experience, so it must be done with every sauna goers' approval and done in moderation.

  • This is a dry sauna! A wet sauna is a steam room. A dry sauna can still have water poured on the rocks.

  • In other countries, alcohol and sauna have gone hand in hand, but it can lead to dehydration, dizziness, and can negate the benefits. No alcohol on premises or before your session please. Do not show up intoxicated(that means weed too).

  • When your head wants to get out of the sauna, but your body doesn't, you need a sauna hat. We keep our sauna at a traditional temp-which mean ears, hair, and faces can overheat before your body does. A sauna hat helps you maximize your session by acting as a barrier to the heat.

  • You can walk-in, though we cannot guarantee a spot in the sauna and at peak times we do fill up-so booking is a simple way to ensure your session goes smoothly and you don't have to wait around or come back another day.

  • YES-we encourage the whole family to come-please give us a call if you need help setting up your family account on punchpass. You must monitor your child at all times and due to differences in children's bodies, sessions must be limited to 5 minutes.

  • NO- we sauna and plunge to feel good-do what feels good

  • We recommend a light meal before your session. Coming too full or too hungry can disrupt your session. Think about how you eat before going on a run etc.

  • We require 6 hour notice for booking cancellations so that the session may be bookable for others. You will receive a 50% refund of your pass's worth after this cut off . If you do not show up completely, you will not receive a refund. Day passes, packs, and memberships are not transferrable between customers.

  • To cancel your membership, please email us at contact@montanasauna.co at least 24 hours before your next billing date. Cancellations made on the same day or after the billing date are not eligible for a refund.

meet the founders

We are two lifelong friends and industrial designers who upon graduating from school and participating in the industry discovered dissatisfaction and misalignment of values. Through bouts of depression, reckoning with chronic physical injuries, and a long gray period with little direction and lots of questioning of ourselves, our past, and the world we live in, sauna was one of the only constants that gave us light and clarity. Little did we know, during this period we developed a strong mental and physical type of resilience we never knew we had.

We are building a community sauna culture in montana that includes mobile sauna pop-ups and community saunas. they will be accessible and create space for people to tap into their mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing while also learning how to tap into their inner superpowers. We also build Home saunas for people so that they can bring this experience to their own micro-communities.

we believe that as humans we exist to serve our community, and by doing so, we also serve ourselves.

using sauna to facilitate the healing power of human connection.
